Who we are
EZ Books Publishing LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we"), runs ezbarcards.com and the EZ Bar Cards app. Email us with any question about your information.
The website
Orders: the card set is sold on Amazon, so your payment and address stay with Amazon under its privacy policy; we never see them. Email you send us: whatever you include.
The site uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which sees your IP address.
The app
The app needs an account. This is everything it keeps about you:
- Your account: your email address and your password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form that no one, including us, can read. We also keep when the account was created and when you last signed in.
- Your progress: the stars you earn in each quiz, how many rounds you have played, your favorite drinks and the days you practiced. It is saved on your iPhone and copied to your account, so it follows you to a new phone.
- Your email choice: whether you ticked "Email me about new cards, the book and what's new in the app", and when.
- Security records: our sign-in service keeps short-lived technical logs of sign-ins and requests, including your IP address, to protect accounts and fix problems.
The app has no ads and no advertising or analytics tools, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. It does not ask for your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
If you turned on "Share With App Developers" in your iPhone's settings, Apple sends us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you.
Emails from the app
We send the emails your account needs: confirming your address and resetting your password. They come from no-reply@ezbarcards.com and are not marketing.
We send news about new cards, the book and the app only if you ticked the box. You can untick it in the app's Profile at any time, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
What we use it for
Running your account and keeping your progress in step across devices, sending the emails above, answering your messages, keeping the service secure, and handling orders. We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not buy advertising lists.
Who else handles data
These companies handle data on our behalf to provide their service:
- Supabase runs the app's sign-in and database, on servers in the United States.
- Resend delivers the app's emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards email sent to us.
Apple handles app downloads and Amazon handles every card set order, each under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Your account, progress and email choice: until you delete your account. Security logs and email delivery records: a short time, kept by the services above. Emails you send us: as long as we need them to answer you.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Profile and tap Delete account. Your account, progress and email choice are deleted from our servers right away, and the copy on your iPhone is cleared. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you. We answer within 30 days. These rights apply wherever you live, including California, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Age
EZ Bar Cards is for adults of legal drinking age. Neither the site nor the app is directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has made an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. For important changes we also tell account holders by email or in the app.
